Paola Zakimi y Ryan Loghry son dos ilustradores geniales que conocí durante el proyecto de los 21 días creativos. Me encanta visitar sus blogs ya que son muy trabajadores, muy talentosos y creativos.

Les agradezco a los dos un montón que me hayan dado este premio, llegó en medio de una semana bastante fea y me dió una excusa para sonreir y animarme un poco :)

Paola Zikimi and Ryan Loghry are two great illustrators who I happened to know during the 21 Days Creative Proyect. I love visiting their blogs cause they are hard workers, very talented and creative people.

The Wish Trees Giveaway!

Además de ser una persona muy sensible y muy dulce Alicia es una excelente ilustradora. Recientemente se han publicado dos libros suyos " I love you all year round" y " The Wish Trees" que se pueden conseguir en Amazon, B&N entre otros.

Celebrando el lanzamiento de "The Wish Trees" organizó un concurso de ilustraciones referidas al libro, con dos ganadores que recibiran sus copias. El libro propone alentar a los niños a plantar árboles y hacer un mundo mejor. Está impreso en papel reciclado y un porcentaje de las ganancias será donado a proyectos ambientales de niños. También proximamente realizarán una campaña para enviar copias de este libro a niños huérfanos con Sida en Africa.

No dejen de visitarla y ver los trabajos que le han ido llegando, también hay unos muy especiales que le regalaron chiquitos de un colegio luego de leer el libro.

Besides of being a sensitive and sweet person, Alicia is an excellent illustrator. Two of her books have recentrly been published "I love you all year round" and "The Wish Trees, both are available at Amazon, B&N and other major stores.

Celebrating this, she has organized a contest of illustrations about "The Wish Trees" with two winners who will receive copies of it. The aim of the book is to encourage kids to plant trees and help them make the world a better place. It's printed in recycled paper and a portion of profits from sales of this book will be donated to children's environmental projects. Also there will soon be a campaign to send copies of "The Wish Trees" to Aids's orphans in Africa.

Visit her and you will also enjoy some wonderful works that she has received, there also are some very special made by kids who have read the book at school.
